XML is the ideal technology for describing data formats and some classes of data structures. Widely understood and supported, the strength of XML is its flexibility. However, this flexibility can make it difficult to objectively assess the quality of designs or implementations of XML-based systems.

Who should attend?

This half-day seminar provides attendees with the conceptual foundation and practical techniques for the classification, analysis and monitoring of XML-related development. Specifically designed to help non-technical people participate in the governance process, this seminar is appropriate for both developers and managers.

Prerequisites: None

Length of course: 0.5 day

Cost: $270 + GST

This seminar will look at:

• XML Governance in the context of maturity models and software quality
• Identifying the issues and solutions
• Quantifying the problem.
